We enjoyed a full day at camp! We started with morning yoga, continued with instrumental warm ups and large ensemble. Each student is then assigned to two smaller ensembles to further develop leadership skills, as well as receive more individual attention.
After lunch, campers enjoyed some free time in McCall. Many interesting treasures were uncovered at one of the local thrift stores, including a Richard Simmons workout video, and a truly disturbing ceramic bunny.
The afternoon was also filled rehearsals. It was very productive, and many small groups made big strides with their afternoon rehearsal time.
After the musical part of our day concluded, we hiked up to the overlook on Ponderosa Peninsula. Then we enjoyed free time, s’mores, and a completely new game called “Night Frisbee.” We may have some Olympians in training here at camp for this outstanding new sport.
Keep watching for pictures and updates!
